1809/6 C-5 R1 Overdate 9 over 6 or Inverted 9 PCGS graded MS63BN, CAC Approved. Very attractive lustrous bluish steel and light olive. The surfaces are covered with satiny mint frost and the eye appeal is outstanding. No spots or stains. The only marks are a couple hairline scratches at the D in UNITED, and it takes a good glass to see them. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The overdate feature is dull but remains clearly visible. Our grade is MS60+. The overdate feature is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 5 finer, 2 in 64, 3 in 65. Estimate Value $2,500 - UP

The surfaces are smooth and the only notable mark is a small nick in the field close off the chin. MDS, Manley state 2.0. 1831 Proof Original Breen 1-A Rarity 7- PCGS graded Proof-60 Brown. Glossy light olive and medium brown with overtones of sea-green on the reverse. Lightly cleaned long ago showing microscopic hairlines in the fields on both sides. There are a few microscopic specks of dirt in protected areas; the only one visible to the unaided eye is a speck off the lower right point of star 6. A decent example of this very rare proof-only date in the half cent series. Our grade is Proof-55. Pop 1; 8 finer at PCGS. Estimate Value $50,000 - UP

1849 Half Cent C-1 R2- NGC Mint Error AU Details Improperly Cleaned. Frosty dark steel brown and olive with peeps of tan in protected areas. Dipped long ago, now retoned. Tiny specks of carbon are scattered over both sides. MDS, Manley state 2.0. Stuck with the reverse rotated 110 degrees CCW relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation. The "Rotated Dies Mint Error" feature is noted on the NGC label. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net VF30. Estimate Value $150 - UP
